UMD prospect day showed me how great of a lacrosse program Duluth had to offer. After watching the alumni game and meeting the players I knew it was a good place to be. These guys truly love the sport and are hard-working and committed. On and off the field they are great guys who are willing to help you with any problem that you may have. The coaches are as great as the players. Easy to talk to and learn from. Also not afraid to strap up and play with the guys. The prospect day showed me what it’s like to be a dog. 

This prospect day was the final piece that solidified my decision to enroll and play for UMD. Meeting the team was phenomenal, as we got to meet them prior to watching the UMD alumni game. The coaches were super welcoming and excited to talk to future players of the UMD program. A few of the older players of the program helped guide us through the campus on a tour, which was eye-opening to what campus life really was like. The UMD prospect day was a day full of fun and excitement, as it was the day I knew I was going to be a Bulldog.
