The Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC) released the All-Conference teams Monday afternoon, and the rosters were littered with players from the UMD lacrosse program.
Jared Johnson, Ryan Larson and Marcus Mondo were all named to the first team. The second team included Branton Fleischman, Noah Olson and Blake Nastrom, while Kyle Katterman and Alex Horras received honorable mention.
Along with eight players earning All-Conference honors, Coach McNamara and Blaeser received Co-Head Coaches Of The Year from the UMLC.
"We couldn't be more honored to get the nod," says McNamara. "When you coach great kids who are willing to work hard, It's easy to be successful. This honor that Ben and I share is a testament to the players and the type of young men they are."
The UMLC All-Conference players are picked by the league's head coaches.
