A Smatterting of Thoughts

- I'm a single dad to 4 children this weekend. My wife is on a well-deserved break to go to her College Basketball Reunion weekend at Harvard. Needless to say, I'll be supplementing the fast food and child care portions of our economy.
- Mankato has been on the upswing for 2 years. They have two of the best offensive players in our confernce in Ryan Reibel and Brent Walby. And they have a stable Head Coaching situation, which will begin to pay dividends this year. I think they are an up and coming team, that will be among the contenders for the UMLL championship. We must be ready to play our best.
- MCLA ball effectively starts this week for our nationwide organization. Really excited to see the BYU/Chapman game if I get home in time this Saturday night. And curious to see Michigan's results v. OWU tonight. My guess is that Michigan wins.
- Two new postive developments in recruiting this week. May delay announcement to see if we can get closure on them in short order.
- We've completed travel plans for Arizona trip. Thanks to Cheryl Offerman, once again, for her tireless voluntary assistance to our team. I don't think the UMD Family understands how much she does for us, how lost I'd be w/o her help and how much $ she saves our team. Parent's we're staying at the 4 POINTS SHERATON in TEMPE. There are two Sheratons - we are staying at the 4 Points one.
- I'm really hoping for an early spring.
- UMLL Championship site should be announced w/in 10-12 days.
- Frank Clark has taken the bull by the horns and updated the site. I like the new look and hope you do as well. Thanks Frank.
- Here's a hint - If you are a spectator ARRIVE EARLY TO THE AUGSBURG GAME tomorrow. There is limited seating as the officials have decided to limit spectators at indoor domes to in-between the Restraining Boxes. Noone may set between the Restrainging box and the End line per officials rulings.
- We do have video of the St. Cloud game, but I've not made time to get it up on the site. That's on me.
