Bulldog Alumni and Booster Club

The Bulldog Lacrosse Alumni and Boosters provide support to the men's lacrosse team on and off the field. They also support the ever growing alumni and friends of the program

2011 Alumni/Parent Weekend Events

Who: All alumni, past and present parents, players, coaches, trainers and university administration

When: Friday Sept 30th and Sat Oct 1st 2011
Where: Duluth, MN
What: Semi-annual weekend get together of all things UMD Lacrosse
Why: To reconnect with past friends, honor those inducted into the first Hall of Fame and connect with the current team
 
Details
 
Friday:
6-9pm- Meet and Greet at Little Angie's Cantina in Canal Park. Food and drink specials offered.
 
Saturday:
 
10-11am- Coaches Clinic hosted by UMD Men's Lacrosse head coach Frank Clark. (Site TBD)
11-Noon- Career Exploration/Business Networking Seminar hosted by Alumni Bryan Burley, VP of Burley Foods. (Site TBD)
1:30 to 3:30pm- Alumni Game. The teams will be a mix of current players and alumni. Teams based on year graduated. Game will be played on Field 4 (Rugby field)
5:30-7pm- DECC- Haborside Ballroom Banquet registration and happy hour. Cash bar available.
7-8pm- A station-to-station buffet dinner will be served.
7:45-9pm- Speeches by Coach Clark, Darren Horstmeier and other individuals. Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
9-???- Have a great and safe evening. Thank you for making this a great event!

Costs: Banquet $80 at the door. Children under 17 are free. Cash and check are accepted.
Hotels in Canal park may still be available. Call today to reserve your room.

That's too bad, not a lot of gossip and banter on that site. They have a lot of catching up to do to get it anywhere near the professionalism of collegelax. Big bummer to be missing those messageboards.

Where are we going to follow the league with the collegelax site going down. I hope the MCLA has a plan to get it up and running now that they will miss out from the publicity and exposure that it brought. Had a great weekend with those that made it up
